Dark Wings prologue*This prologue has now changed*--will post the new one when I'm closer to publishing in case of theft. Yes...I'm paranoid. =w=;

Angels are destined to find the light through the dark.  Yet, they have not kept to that promise, to the path in which they are all supposed to follow.  Whispers from one ear travels quickly as they fear the one that holds complete power over death.  The future is unknown to them but the past is what they now use to strengthen their fragile wings. They live every moment in fear of death and dread the one flight they were made to make from the commencement of time.

The thought of darkness and defeat began to devour
Chapter 10: Dream Butter shot her body up, gulping in the air around her. The sky above was beginning to be swallowed by darkness. The dark elements reached its shadowy fingers across the sky, spreading them, devouring all light. The individuals that resided here would soon be engulfed by this darkness. The lands were set ablaze, cats scattered all around, their bodies bruised and defiled. The smell of the air rested in the nose and on the tongue. There was no hope here. The stench rummaged through her nose, the abuse reminding her of the mistake that she had made.

Standing still, the sound of her breath and the roaring fires around had been the only noises
Story commission: Rini-tanPandora was a duchess but you would never expect such a fact by the way the townspeople treated her. She was not royalty but her father had been closely bonded with the king until his death long ago.

The townspeople however thought of her as a bad omen, a walking nightmare. Bad luck followed wherever she went and they knew she was hiding something from them, something dire but they could never prove it.

Pandora sat on a bench, the citizens of the town walking swiftly by her. The ones with shops set up eyed her angrily and worryingly. She sighed and pulled her rosy hair to the front of her chest and began to stroke it in a tense habit.

Chapter 9: Secret Foe Kokoro sat upon a tree branch, looking down at a river that slithered its way through a meadow, up into the mountains. It was a beautiful view. Euteria was magical, in its own way. She felt like she was safe here. She did not know many of the cats that resided in this place, but she did admire the beauty within their domain. Why, then, did she feel so trapped? No one knew what her life was like, what she had been through. She wished to leave it that way, but a small bit of her yearned to let it out.

Chapter 2: DemoniButter watched as her brother continued to play in the water, completely oblivious to the reason why he could never wander past the very river he was playing within. She yearned to know what Euteria had to offer past such restricted areas and what kind of people lurked around the dark corners of such a dazzling world.  

Then a soft noise made its way towards her and she twitched her ears towards her right as she instinctively turned her head slowly to see another cat. The girl was noticeably sitting on a tree branch that was right above both of them, making no real effort to hide herself from their eyes.

Chapter 11: KittenButter watched on as Haru rubbed her arms again and again.

“Are you alright?”

Butter couldn’t help but feel choked by life and its burdens. The dream she had seemed so real, and out of everything she learned, she still had more questions than answers. What had she done wrong? Why was her brother always in harm’s way? Why couldn't she protect him?

She felt like she should tell Scotch about her dream, but she knew it would only frighten him. How long could she keep him in the dark? Surely if she was in his predicament she would want to know. However, Scotch was weaker than Butter, both physically and mentally. The new
Chapter 8: ClashHaru let his mouth drop open slightly until he caught himself, “The male flame point holds more power than he comprehends.”

The elder nodded, “This is precisely why, when the time is right, we tell him of that power. If Butter successfully falls for you and kills her master, and Scotch knowing of the outcome will not hesitate to save her.”

Haru sat back in his chair, rubbing his head, “Scotch is very noble but his sister would never allow him to do such a thing as to sacrifice himself.”

The elder grimaced, “That is why we will not make it known to her. As you know, Scotch is the switch that enables

Chapter 6: The PactIris knelt, leaning forward to smell the ground as she inhaled the fleeing scent of Butter's aroma. It would be fairly easy for her to trace the scent back to the castle, as long as she followed this trail.

Scotch puffed out his tail in anger.
“I said you are going the wrong way! Why won’t you listen to me!?”
Kokoro hushed him.
“Be patient, she has a reason for doing so.”
Iris stood up and turned towards the remaining twin.
“Your master has altered the surroundings to your house, the path in which you are used to has changed. The only way for us to find your sister is to follow this trail. It will take som
Story Commission: cddmanfulAiko stuck her tongue out in concentration. Crouched over, she bent her knees. Her hands dangled and her hair fell to her chest. Her eyes shifted rapidly in opposite directions until they settled right center. She could hear herself breathing, the sound of the wind moving the trees branches and the running sound of the stream she was now within.

Her eyes focused carefully on the fish in front of her, the cat tail that attached itself to her bottom began to get wet as it submerged itself in the glossy blue tinted water. It was very cold liquid, causing the hairs on her tail and feline ears to stand on end. She wiggled her nose as it acquired

The elements of heaven were much more pronounced with each movement appearing in a slow, methodical motion.  Rmma loved heaven but he was a sacrificial lamb, destined to be killed once he reached twenty years of age.  He did not comprehend the strange aura of death, so such a heavy truth did not infect his mind. He was ultimately carefree, able to do whatever he pleased as everyone knew his time here was short.   He was treated very well and his life was simple and easy.  He shifted position, rolling around as the earnest sunlight of
Story Commission: Tsuzuya (2) Riya looked at Kiriya, she was caught in a peculiar situation and she didn’t know what to say. It looked exactly like it did and as much as she yearned to be in this position with him; Kazuya had made the move first. It was obvious to her and everyone in the room that the way he acted signified he was jealous but if he cared about her, why did he not show it until another male had made a move first? It made Kiriya come off as territorial to a possession that was not owned by him.

“What’s up with you?” Kazuya asked, clearly annoyed that his advance on her was interrupted.

He looked down at the blood soaked body of his sister, her skin now cold.  Her long wavy hair was caked with blood, making it stick to her face.  His young, innocent sister had been caught up in the calamity of their father.

Story Commission: Maeyin Zander took a deep breath in, his lungs tried to ingest the air around him as quickly as they could. They needed to keep him up to par with this skilled fight. If not, he feared he would never be able to redeem himself in the eyes of her.

This woman was like his sister, so he always liked to impress her. To show off to her and most importantly beat her in everything that they did together. He needed her to live, knowing that, if he ever got harmed she would be able to cure him with the bond that their magic had made to each other. They loved each other. They were after all, each other’s best friends.

Story Commission: SnowMishibariSweat beaded down her face, the salty taste entering her mouth, resting on her tongue. The ears on her head expanded as her tail flicked around wildly. Her chest moved up and down trying frantically to inhale air to move her muscles. She darted her eyes around, looking for him. He was hiding in the shadows somewhere.

She leaned her body over, resting her palms on her knees as she arched her back, gulping in the crisp air around her.

“You are getting sloppy.” A voice said, the tone taunting her ears.
She quickly regained an upright position and stood still, using her core strength to freeze that moment in time.

Darkness… that’s all there was. The sound of wings pulsating against the air was all that could be heard. The faint smell of orange blossoms filled the vicinity, injecting the nose with its pleasant aroma.

A faded glow then appeared, its shimmering aura filling the once dark abyss. It gave off a warm radiance, coming closer into view until an image of a small glowing butterfly came into sight. She hated being here, her master knew that—but he did not care. He only saw her as a pretty face, a breed to attract potential suitors. It was simple really, her master wanted to find her a perfect mate—one that was wild—in hopes to create a unique blood line, one that no one else has ever discovered. Chapter 3: Cottonese The Demoni ran at Butter who stood her ground, bracing herself for impact. She planted her boots into the ground as the taller, stronger intruder crashed into her. Grabbing Butter's dress, the demon cat slammed her into the tree, causing a shower of leaves to fall over them as some birds squawked in annoyance, fleeing from their nests. Butter's lips curved up, baring her teeth as she puffed out her tail in animosity. She extended her claws and raised her arm, slicing across the Demoni's shoulder as a yelp escaped the demon cats' lips. I finished reading the first and this chapter and I think it's such an amazing story!
I find the main character is really interesting * u * the way she thinks, the way she acts, and the way she makes decisions is just different from other kind of "princess" < 3
I can't wait to read the next chapter///

ohh and I heard some people said that those who born premature has weaker immune system than the others- or even shorter life span but I dont know for sure-- it's nothing but m-maybe it can be something that you could add to her ability/ combat skill (if you're thinking of making a fighting scene ; v ; ) asghdj but even so, your character is already perfect < 3
