“I know what you yearn to do to your master. I can help you accomplish such a task, but only with your help. If you agree, I can remove the bells from your body.” The blue point said.
Butter's ears perked up in interest. Were her prayers finally to be answered? Was meeting this feral cat fate? To finally roam around Euteria without fear of her master following her or harming her was something she had been dreaming about. Since she was born her master would beat her, ranging from a single slap to a full fledged attack depended upon whether or not the master was in a good mood. This meant most of the beatings she received were as a result from something she did not do. She had not tried to escape before because she couldn’t bear to leave her mother and Scotch in such an awful place. Her mother had passed away in the last six months, and now the entire brunt of the beatings were inflicted on Butter. Butter had tried desperately to keep quiet so that her brother could live a care-free life, but what the master had just done was the last straw, pushing her over the edge. There was no way she was going to stay in that house for another minute. For years she had stared out the window in her room, but had never gathered the confidence to open it and flee. Now she had done it, wishing she had long ago. If she had told Scotch they could have made their escape much more easily since the master would never had thought his treasures would leave him.
She looked at the blue point, but Scotch let out another long growl at the intruder making it clear that he wanted nothing to do with this male. The blue point, waving his hands in defense, did not want to pick a fight with the young flame point.
“Don’t worry Scotch, this is all up to your sister. If she wants me to leave I will flee on my own accord.”
Scotch looked towards his sister, but she kept her eyes glued on the blue point. Her ears twitched forward, curious, but still reserved. Should she trust a male that had only just a moment ago desired to be her mate? It all sounded very suspicious, yet she was still intrigued.
“I wouldn’t trust a blue point.”
The young flame points drifted their gazes up to the nearest tree, and saw the Demoni from earlier balancing upon a bough.
“You have a gift of sneaking up and spying on people don’t you?” The blue point said, answering her intrusive comment.
The Demoni just twitched her nose and jumped gracefully from the tree, walking over to the blue point narrowing her eyes.
“I don’t trust you. Your kindness has never proven to be trustworthy.”
The blue point cocked his head to the side.
“I don’t recall that I was even talking to you.” He spat, walking past her to kneel down by Butter. He stroked her ears suddenly.
“I was talking to this dazzling one. Look at those crystal blue eyes, such a perfectly bred trait.”
Iris immediately pulled her foot back and released it at full power, kicking his lower back and making him lose the little balance he had. Falling to the floor, his tail immediately puffed up in anger. Swiftly getting up he set his sights on the Demoni as they began to circle one-another in a cat-like display. The rumbling from each of their throats was echoed into their ears, yet before either of them could strike, a third growl made its way into their ears. The animosity contained in this growl caused the blue point to lift his head and look around in uneasiness before quickly fleeing.
Iris and the two flame points looked towards the direction of the growl in fear, when no other than the Cottonese from earlier appeared from the bushes.
“You guys always are in some kind of trouble.” She said teasingly, the cotton ball on her tail and in her ears wiggling in the breeze.
Butter then snapped out of her thoughts, blinked her light blue eyes and looked at Iris, “Why did you chase him away?”
The Demoni flicked the hair out of her eye, her long hazel hair resting on her back.
“You can’t trust blue point cats. Don’t you know anything, or ave you been sheltered your whole life?” To which Scotch nodded, catching the demon cat off guard.
“Oh,” she stuttered.
“Well... just so you know the blue points are solely dedicated in trying to eradicate the humans.”
Butter let out a gasp, her blonde hair blowing in the now stirring wind, “What makes them think they can kill off the humans? It’s not as if they are regular mortals, they hold power just like you Demoni.”
The demon cat shook her head, “Please just call me Iris. Anyways, no one knows the true intentions of the blue points and why they are against the humans, but what was a surprise to me was that he wanted the two of you... You twins are not blue points yourselves, so I don’t know what his motives could be... Unless…” she sniffed out the air and walked closer to Butter, “Unless you hold some power that—"
“Well it is just good that we got the blue point away before he did damage." Kokoro said, cutting off the Demoni.
Iris turned towards the Cottonese but Kokoro gave her a look. Iris, understanding, turned back towards the twins.
“Exactly, like I said, now you know that you can’t trust such breeds. Always be on your toes. Though I had a question, what are you two doing here without your beloved master?"
At the mention of his name the twins’ eyes Scotches eyes weld up with tears and Iris shrunk away.
Scotch spoke up with a shaky voice.
“He has done and forced my sister to do many things... We are not going back to him no matter what.”
Kokoro tilted her head, “Such bold words for a once shy cat.”
Scotch narrowed his eyes, “It’s time to grow up, being care-free showed me how much I was overlooking and it won’t happen again. We need to protect my sister.”
Kokoro blushed from his noble speech, “You are such a cutie. It seems the runt of the twins is turning into quite a little lion.” She said teasing Scotch. His face grew a soft pink but he just nodded.
“I have to act my age now.”
“You won’t…” her ears twitched in different directions as she stopped her sentence.
“What is it?” Scotch asked as Iris and Kokoro stepped in front of the twins.
“Stay behind us.” Iris answered, the horns upon her head flashing with a red aura. The twins followed their eyes towards the nearby trees as their master walked out, his green eyes glaring at them from underneath his black hair.
“I believe you two have something of mine.” The master said, the words slithering out of his mouth, “Butter, dear, come to me.”
Scotch looked at his sister, “No, don’t go. He can’t hurt you anymore.”
Butters tail went in between her legs as the master challenged Scotch’s statement.
“On the contrary, that is quite the opposite. You have been the cause of your own punishment this time, Butter.” He raised his gaze to the moon that had already exchanged shifts with the sun. The moonlight lit up the grassy hill they were standing on—the sound of their breathing burned in their ears.
“It is already sun down and I told you that you would get punished if you did not return.” He waved his hand in the air and Butter let out a painful whimper as everyone turned to look at her.
The bells upon her body started to glow as she disappeared into the moonlight where her shadow once stood.
Scotch screamed in protest and as they all turned back towards the master, yet he had dissapeared as well.
“No!” The male flame point screamed falling to his knees as the tears poured down his cheeks.
Iris swiftly crouched down near him.
“You have to be strong for your sister right now,” she gripped his shoulders, “you need to quit crying and show us where the master lives!”
Scotch held his breath looking over towards Kokoro and nodded, swallowing his sobs.
“Okay... follow me.” At that he took off into the moonlight.
Butter fell to the ground, her dress torn and stained with sweat. She cowered under her masters’ strong hand as it was brought down upon her repeatedly; his strong fist striking her over and over until she collapsed, unable to defend herself any longer. Her hair was matted, blood dripping out of her nose. She could feel the pain her body suffered from humming in her ears, pleading for an escape.
The master had teleported them both back to his room. It had navy blue walls and a blue floor, now stained with her blood. The master had been beating her for hours, her body convulsing with pain every time she inhaled.
“Your brother and friends won’t find you for a while, I have set obstacles in their way.” Her master said angrily.
She just wanted to let go, to be free; to finally escape from the mental and physical harm she had ever received from this man. That’s when it happened; her tail began to shimmer with a gold light. As she looked at it, swishing her tail back and forth, glitter shimmered into the air. The master immediately slammed his foot into her back, pushing her to the ground, causing the glitter and glow to vanished from view. He leaned down to Butter and caressed her face, licking the blood from her soft pale skin.
Butter whimpered as he rubbed her shoulders, “You were such a good girl, with such promise,” caressing her arms he continued, “it is a shame you ruined such a good thing.” At this point he grabbed her by the hair, dragging her out of the room. Her scalp burned, feeling like her roots were going to be yanked out, she cried loudly. Warm tears flowed from her eyes, gliding over her now cold skin. He kept dragging her, and it felt as though the pain would never subside. She began to scream and kick her feet but it only caused her more pain. She cried, desperate to find a way out.
Why did she have to go through this? Why her? Why couldn’t someone else be put through this pain? All she wished, yearned and hoped for was to be free.
The clanking of the bells around her neck and tail burned in her ears, and then suddenly, it stopped. The master still held her hair but no longer pulled. She looked through her tear stained eyes to see them stopped at a door.
The master then flipped her around and pinned her to the floor, his strong arms pushing her into the ground. She struggled to move, to get out of his grip, but he was much larger than her, the differences in body weight at least a hundred pounds. She could feel his body press closer to hers as his face was a few mere inches from her own. She could feel his warm breath on her lips, turning her head in disgust, but he wrench her face to look at him.
“You‘re so beautiful,” he caressed her neck now, sending shivers along her body.
“We can have so much fun.” He leaned down and sucked the delicate skin of her neck into his mouth, and she felt the chills course through her body, sensual tingling vibrations began warming her body. She knew a passionate sin was taking over his mentality and she whimpered, ashamed of her bodies’ attraction towards his gestures. She couldn’t let it happen, she would never forgive herself, and she had to get free. He would soil her and his sickening mind confused her own.
He was a very handsome man, the muscles in his arms protruding as he held her down, but he had punished her countless times, beaten her, there was no way she would let him satisfy himself, the rush of sin flowing in an aura around him.
“No!” she screamed, wrenching and thrashing her body, causing his teeth to slice her neck and she screamed again, “Master, stop!”
He held her down harder, “I always love when you call me Master…” he cooed at her.
Butter shook her head and closed her eyes, “Please, get off!” She felt his body tense and then he propelled himself off her, Butter curling up to protect her body, looking up at him in terror as he looked down at her.
“I wish it didn’t have to come to this, beautiful. You left me no choice. There is no way I am going to let someone else have your rarity if I am not destined to.”
He opened up the door, and immediately she was blasted with the stench of urine. He flung her within the mysterious room and slammed the door shut.
Butters’ face in the ground, the pain in her body was so intense that she could barely move. However, the acrid smell was enough to make her raise her head to inspect her surroundings, but as soon as she did she wish she hadn’t.
The room was huge, and all along the walls were cages after cages, all sitting upon steel tables. Constructed out of a cold hard metal, the floors of the cages consisted of a wood slab. Inside these cages were tons of cats. Many squished into one cage, all left to decay where they were imprisoned. They meowed loudly at her, all a loud echo of the same cry for help. She couldn’t believe her eyes; had she never sensed what was going on within this room after living here her whole life?
All the cat-like humans of Euteria had a choice to either walk the grounds in their human form or their cat form, and you could freely switch back and forth between these forms... but seeing so many cats in one cage—at least 6 per-cage- showed that these individuals had no choice to revert back to their human form.
All their pleading rang in her ears, all asking for help, speaking to her in their cat tongues and she rose her hands to her ears and clapped her palms over them. “No, no no no!” she screamed. She ran towards the door, her tail still between her legs, she pried at the door, turning the knob uselessly; it was locked. She screamed again, “No! Please master let me out! Please!” she clawed at the wood now, scratching it, digging her claws into the grain. She then crouched down to the floor and pushed her face into the crack between the bottom of the door and the floor, pressing her face to it, trying desperately to smell fresh air, to be free, to get out of this place, to escape.
She heard her master yelling from the other side of the door.
“You brought this on yourself, sweetheart! By this time tomorrow you’ll be in one of those cages!”
Butter whimpered in defeat and slumped closer to the floor. Looking up, she spotted a window, her last hope. She sprung upwards and ran towards the window, prying her claws under the lock, but it resulted in broken nails. She cursed to herself and looked feverishly around the room, trying to find any form of escape. She ran to all sides of the room, banging on them, kicking them, doing anything she could. It was all in vain. Her hopeless situation caused her to weep, the sound of her own cries matching the cries of the cats around her.
Was this to be her prison? Was she to rot here with the other cats until she died?
She could hear her heart beating within her ears, the pain from her injuries started to throb. She coughed and wiped the blood from below her nose. She had to get out of here, she couldn’t give up, she had to think of something.
She looked at the cages that held her fellow kin and crawled over towards one of them, trying to pry the lock open but it was no use; the locks were sealed with magic. The cats within the cages looked at her beseechingly, begging her to help them. How could she help them when she couldn’t even help herself?
This was a holding cell, a prison to such cats as her. She had not realized her master had been keeping the cats that he had been breeding in hopes of finding and creating that one rare breed.
Then it came to her and her heart stopped; was the rest of her life going to be spent being forced to breed? The one thing she had ran away from in the very beginning?
Her tears ran down her face, moistening the dried blood under her nose. She knew the only hope for her and the cats trapped within this prison were for her friends to find her. She held onto that hope, curling into a ball, rocking back and forth as the screams of the imprisoned cats echoed in her ears and the putrid smell within the chamber burned her nose.
Her friends had to come... they could get through the masters traps couldn’t they?
